Simple Past in INTERROGATIVE

In this last entry about simple past in interrogative, we are going to learn the interrogative form. Are you ready for this?

Rules:

The Past Simple questions are formed by the auxiliary did for all people singular and plural. The verb maintains its infinitive form, ie without -ed:

Ex: Did you work yesterday? / Did he work yesterday? / Did They work yesterday?

If it comes to a specific question, including a question word as where / when / what etc., the question begins with the question word and continue with the auxiliary, the subject and the verb, always in this order:

Ex: Where did you work last year?

ACTIVITIES

1. Give short answers to the questions

  2.  Write questions for these answers.
